The New England Medieval Consortium was founded by Archibald Lewis (University of Massachusetts at Amherst) in 1974. Its annual meeting is held at a member institution in New England, usually on a Saturday in October or early November.
I created the NEMC website with Gregory Halfond and maintain it myself.
